Porongurup Wine Festival

Porongurup, a locality nested against the Porongurup Range and National Park, a short drive east of Mount Barker, plays host to one of the biggest and most popular events on the Mount Barker calendar, the Porongurup Wine Festival. Held in March every year, this hugely popular one day festival is run by the Porongurup Promotions Association (PPA) and features local award winning Porongurup vineyards, foods and a jam-packed itinerary of live music, celebrities, competitions and events. The festival draws thousands of visitors of all age groups, with plenty to do for the young ones while adults have the unique experience of sampling and purchasing award winning Porongurup wines - all in one place.
